At approximately 8 AM, a fire incident was reported in Hangberg. Thanks to the swift action of the residents and the prompt response from the fire and rescue team, the fire was contained and prevented from spreading further, but sadly not before 3 homes were destroyed.
Our immediate priority is to provide support and assistance to the affected families. We provided essential relief items, including toiletries, bedding, clothing, and groceries.
We extend our sympathies and support to those who have lost their homes, and we are here to lend a helping hand. Together, we will work towards rebuilding and restoring a sense of normalcy in the lives of those affected.
